CHATGPT INTEGRATED IN THE PEUGEOT i-COCKPIT

A NEW INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE

Peugeot is one of the first brands to enhance its onboard voice recognition feature using ChatGPT. 

Now your Peugeot can tell you all about places, history, artists, technology, cooking, travel advice… anything you can think of! It can also invent stories for your kids or create quizzes on your favorite topics*.

Thanks to the integration of ChatGPT in the Peugeot i-Cockpit, you can safely talk with your voice assistant while keeping your eyes on the road and your hands on the steering wheel. No touch interaction with your infotainment screen and all of this in total respect of your privacy**. 

And if you get recommendations of a great place to visit, just ask your Peugeot to navigate to this destination. 

*Just remember that ChatGPT version 3.5 uses data up to January 2022, so it has no knowledge of events and data after this date.
**ChatGPT is integrated in the Peugeot i-Cockpit thanks to the audio and voice recognition system of its partners, including SoundHound and Cerence. Being an Artificial Intelligence language model, it is developed to generate human-like responses based on deep learning, but as it is new and developing technology, its answers or information may not be totally accurate, correct or objective, and PEUGEOT does not endorse or take responsibility for any of them . As with any other virtual assistant, we recommend you not to rely only on the information provided and to avoid sharing private information. Peugeot integrates ChatGPT to enhance the Peugeot i-Cockpit's voice recognition capabilities.

Chat about any topic when driving through the city or on a road trip.

For example, you could say: "OK Peugeot, could you tell me about the 24 hours of Le Mans ?" or “OK Peugeot, what can I visit in Le Mans ?”.

Just remember that asking for real time information (such as sport results, breaking news or if a shop is open now) are not questions that chat GPT 3.5 can answer.

To subscribe, you need to be the owner of one of the following vehicles: New 208, New 2008, New 308, New 308 SW, New 408, New 508, New 508 SW, New 3008, New 5008, New Rifter, New Partner, New Traveller and New Expert.

Your vehicle needs to be equipped with the embedded voice recognition feature (you can check if your car has this feature by saying ‘OK Peugeot’ or by pressing the dedicated button on your steering wheel - and your car will respond to you).

Moreover, your Connected Navigation Pack needs to be active.​ You can check this in the ‘Services’ section of your MyPeugeot app, or by signing in at the top of this page. If it's not active, you can activate it by clicking here. 

If your car matches the criteria listed above, you just need to sign in and click on the button “Activate Now”, follow the steps proposed and go onboard, being sure to be in an area covered by a strong mobile signal. An automatic Over the Air update will enable ChatGPT in your Peugeot i-Cockpit*.

As soon as you receive the  confirmation  via email, just say “OK Peugeot” and you are ready to go.

Remember that the usage is linked to the remaining time of your Connected Navigation Pack contract: if this expires before the ChatGPT one, it will be necessary to renew your Connected Navigation Pack to continue benefiting of ChatGPT in your Peugeot i-Cockpit.
